CMMC Update 10/5/2020

The CMMC Accreditation Body (AB) will have a marketplace that the 300,000 companies in the Department of Defense (DoD) Industrial Base (DIB) can go to find the:

1. Registered Practitioners (RPs), for implementations;

2. Registered Provider Organizations (RPOs) that manage the RPs;

3. Certified Professionals (CP);

4. Certified Assessors (CA); and

5. Certified Third-Party Assessment Organization (C3PAO) which will manage CPs & CAs.

And ISOP Solutions has also registered with the CMMC-AB to be a Registered Provider Organization (RPO) which will manage RPs. Our RPs are now in training to assist our clients.

As a reminder, ISOP Solutions has registered with the CMMC-AB to be a Certified Third-Party Assessment Organization (C3PAO) which will manage Assessors. Our CMMC Assessor is now undergoing training.

For our clients that are currently certified to ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 20000-1, and ISO/IEC 27001 you may already have all controls in place to comply with ML-1 but simply need us, as an RPO, to review and modify those to ensure the 17 practice areas are in compliance at your organization. 

Again, there has still been no CMMC pricing structure for RPO RP implementations or C3PAO Assessments provided.
